SCAA Scholarship Program

The South Carolina Aviation Association SCAA scholarship program will provide limited assistance for South Carolina students who wish to pursue a career in the aviation industry.

The objective of the scholarship fund is to promote the aviation industry in South Carolina. Scholarship funds will be provided up to a maximum of $500 for one semester of tuition and books. Funds will be paid to the institution for tuition and books only.

It is the student’s responsibility to provide SCAA with appropriate bills and documentation for payment. No funds will be paid to the student directly.

The SCAA Scholarship Committee will review all applications and make recommendations to the board of directors.

Participating students must maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0 out of 4.0 or its equivalent.

In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must be recommended by a member in good standing with SCAA.

Requirements and qualifications may be added or deleted by the SCAA Board of Directors’ as they deem necessary. Students may reapply each year, but first time applicants will receive preferential consideration.

Once an application has been received, it will remain on file and in contention until all funds have been expended. Applicants will receive letters of notification once his or her application has been either declined or approved.

Congratulations to our two recipients of the 2018 SCAA Scholarship!
